Properties of Diagonals

I created a podcast with my friend using a smartphone to record a dialog between us about the properties of diagonals.  This podcast can be used  in our Math class to explain the Properties of Diagonals or as a review for the students after explaining the lesson.

I used this podcast as an introduction for the Math lesson "Properties of Diagonals" in Grade 5. My students were interested to hear, practice and  try it. Also they were very happy with this new experience.
So, lets try it with your students :) and share me your experience.

Testing our Students' Knowledge about Angles Using SurveyMonkey

Survey monkey is an online survey site that simplifies the survey process considerably. Survey monkey offers 17 formats for asking questions (multiple choice, true false, open-ended, etc).

I used survey monkey to create a Math assessment about Angles.

It was a good idea to introduce the following survey to grade six students in order to test their acquired knowledge after explaining the lesson.

What about Comparing Fractions Using Power Point?! :)

Microsoft PowerPoint is a software product used to perform computer-based presentations. There are various circumstances in which a presentation is made: teaching a class, assessment for your students explaining an organizational structure, etc.

I prepared this Power Point to introduce exercises prepared for grade 5 students to compare fractions with same denominator.

We can use this Power Point as:
  1.  An introduction to the lesson to motivate students to discover it and be integrated in the learning and teaching method.
  2. An assessment at the end of the lesson.

So,when would you use it?
